This provider does not do business based upon their name...Honest 1. I had an appointment for 1pm to add fluid in my transmission. Dropped my car at 12:15pm. By 2:30 pm no call or services provided. By 2:45 pm, I received a call that my work will not be done until the next day. But they have given a quote for $140.00 out of the door. Kept my car over night and the next day, they called and said that it will cost $245.00 to tap oil in my transmission. I was disappointed, haven't charged me 140.00, kept my car over night and then comes back with different price just to tap my oil when the dealer charges 159.00. I had to tow my car to another shop that did the same job for 160.00. Bad business at Honest 1!
Hi J- sorry you didn't have a good experience. The price we gave you on the phone was for a standard transmission flush. You towed your vehicle in with no fluid in the transmission due to a blown transmission cooler line and substantial body damage. This model vehicle is a sealed transmission and requires a time consuming special fill procedure (especially important when it's been run dry) and special transmission fluid. In other words, the price given over the phone didn't apply to the situation or your actual vehicle. We apologize we didn't communicate better with you. Have a great day!
